Located in the land of million coconut trees, North Sulawesi. Awilton was started by the spirit of the founders to increase the prosperity of local farmers and develop natural healthy products. PT. Awilton Nyiur Internasional is a sustainable organic foods company based at origin in Bitung, North Sulawesi Indonesia. As a government partner in educating local farmers and developing coconut based products, Awilton's coconut plantation spread all over the land and all of them are organic certified.

We’re proud to have grown the world’s most sustainable supply chain for coconut flower nectar. But we couldn’t possibly have done it alone. We’re based at origin, in the North Sulawesi of Indonesia where we work daily with thousands of local farmer partners that are the foundation of our vertically integrated business.

ABOUT ORGANIC COCONUT SUGAR

Coconut sugar is a natural sweetener which is manufactured from the sap of cut flower buds, grown on top of the coconut palm trees. Organic coconut sugar is a better alternative to table sugar as it contains some extra micronutrients such as antioxidants, flavonoids, polyphenols, and others. It is considered healthier and more nutritious than other natural and artificial sugar substitutes due to its low Glycaemic Index (GI), so it is very safe for diabetic patients. Organic coconut sugar is naturally made from extracts and contains no chemicals, which is one of the reasons people prefer this product. Organic coconut sugar is also gaining popularity as an ingredient in bakery products and beverages. With the growing consumer awareness and their increasing interest in healthy lifestyle, the demand for organic coconut sugar has increased recently. Our Product

Raw coconut nectar, or "coconut palm nectar" comes from the best sweet sap that is produced from tapping the thick stalks or stems of the flowering coconut blossom. The coconut palms are not harmed through the nectar tapping process. One of the great things about tapping the Coco nucifera palm is that it continues to produce sap for the next 20 years or more. Once tapped, however, the coconut blossoms, which would normally produce coconuts at some point, do not continue to further develop as fruit. What this means is that all trees used to make coconut sugar or nectar are designated for such purposes. Many times, older coconut palms (50 years or older) offer a dual purpose of providing shade canopies for native populations.
